Coaches' Newsletter:
"It's not over, until it's over"
is the famous phrase we've all heard...But I think when it comes to
summer league, teams need to be more aware of the new saying "It's
not over, until JV STARS SAY IT's OVER"! ... Last Saturday's
performance was incredible. The effort shown by each and everyone of
YOU (kids) was the highlight of our success and victory against
Fairfield. I must say that I was very proud of how much you put forth
all your talents, cheers and support for other teammates all
throughout the meet. Going into the season many of us coaches and
parents were wondering about the outcome for our upcoming meets since
we had changed divisions and were ranked one of the weakest among all
of them. Thankfully, I have a great team of coaches that have
supported me since day one, and have believed in my vision for the
team's success as swimmers and in setting a good example for those
kids while being of positive influence. Like every year for the past
3 years or so, JV Stars is elevating its talent to new levels. Not
only making the coaches proud, but also feeling proud of the
hard
work they do to get to where they are.
Thank you parents. I have to really
thank you because none of this could be possible if it wasn't for the
work and support you give to your kids, and your neighbor's kids. You
are a true blessing for this team. You are the secret INGREDIENT for
this team's success.
2 for 2 JV STARS...Lets get ready for
another Saturday, and show why its NEVER OVER, UNLESS WE "JV
STARS " SAY IT’s OVER!!!

Coach Whitney just graduated from high school and will be attending Baylor University in the fall. Swimming
year round through high school and on the Jersey Village Stars Swim
Team since the age of seven, Whitney has learned many things in and out
of the pool with regards to swimming. As coaching
combines three of her favorite activities - working with kids, serving
others, and swimming - Whitney is stoked and thrilled about the
upcoming season and the friendships and memories that will be made.
